Approach

Gaby J is a West Coast and New England based wedding, elopement, food and boudoir photographer. Her candid, editorial way of working has put her on the Condé Nast BRIDES list of the best wedding photographers in the country three years in a row.

She photographs movement and sincerity between two people. Raw emotion and gentleness, the small details of still life, and the grain that makes a picture feel like it has always existed. Digital, 35mm film and instant film, often in the same day.

Away from a shoot her time goes on being a mother to her eighteen-year-old son, gardening in zone 9a, and trying to meet her reading goal for the year. The studio is in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has been photographing weddings since 2011.
